Police seek leads in Jackson carjacking

EAST JACKSON — Jackson police search for the people responsible for taking a man’s car and later burning it. Officers were called to the Whitehall Car Wash around 11:15 Wednesday night in the 600 block of Whitehall Street. That is where officers say a man told them he was approached by three men who robbed him at gunpoint, taking money and his car. The man was not injured. The man’s car was found burned Thursday morning in Denmark. The suspects are described as black males.
