One injured in North Jackson car wreck

NORTH JACKSON — One person is injured after an afternoon two-car accident near the intersection of Glen Echo Drive and Old Humboldt Road, according to the Jackson Police Department. Police say one person suffered non-life threatening injuries and has been transported to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Traffic is congested near the intersection of Old Humboldt Road and North Highland Avenue. The Jackson Fire Department also was on scene, according to police.
