Woman accused of soliciting money from hotel guests appears in court

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A woman accused of repeatedly soliciting money from guests at a local hotel appeared Monday in Jackson City Court. Officials with the DoubleTree hotel said Barbra Edwards trespassed on the property multiple times, begging guests for money. Edwards was warned in March to stay away and reportedly kept coming back to the hotel through September. Her bond was set at $10,000, and she is scheduled to appear in court again on Oct. 27.
