Man accused of stalking, threatening ex-girlfriend appears in court

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man was in court Wednesday to face stalking charges after police say he repeatedly called and threatened his ex-girlfriend. Marcus Dangelo Graves is accused of calling the woman more than 100 times in less than 24 hours, according to court documents. Graves said in the calls he had a gun and would kill the woman, the document states. The woman told police she had told Graves not to call her. She also said Graves has previously come to her apartment and caused a disturbance, according to the documents. Graves is charged with domestic stalking-harassment and is being held on $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 10 for a preliminary hearing.
