JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson police hope you recognize the man captured on surveillance video. They believe he swiped a cellphone that was not his. The incident happened at the AB Trinity Food Mart at North Parkway and Royal Street, Oct. 19. The video shows the man at the counter completing a transaction with the clerk. A Samsung Note III is sitting on the counter in front of him. According to officers, the phone belongs to a woman who checked out before him and left it behind by mistake. The man can be seen touching the phone to light up the screen right before walking off and taking the phone with him.
