NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The deadline to apply for the new Tennessee Promise scholarship program comes this Saturday. A new report says two-thirds of Tennessee’s high school seniors have signed up for the scholarship service. Created as an incentive by Gov. Bill Haslam, the program provides two years of tuition-free education at any technical school or community college. To apply, go to www.tnpromise.gov.
