Man charged in death of 4-year-old son free on bond

McNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. — A father who is charged along with his girlfriend in the death of his 4-year-old son is now free on bond, according to the McNairy County Sheriff’s Office. Anthony Deon Dilworth, 39, is charged with aggravated child abuse in the August death of his son, Asher Drake. Dilworth was released Tuesday on $25,000 bond, according to McNairy County Sheriff Guy Buck. Dilworth’s girlfriend, Kyrie Kyle, is charged with first-degree felony murder in the child’s death. According to court records, the child was brutally beaten and died after Kyle bashed his head against a dresser. He died at a hospital three days later. Kyle is being held without bond.
