CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. — Officials with CSX Transportation have confirmed a second train derailment in less than two days. A train has derailed at the Bruceton train yard, according to CSX. According to the company, the derailment consists of one locomotive and five rail cars. The locomotive has a ruptured tank and is leaking diesel, and a Hazmat crew is on scene to clean up the spill, according to the Bruceton Fire Department. The contents of the cars, if any, is unknown at this time. The cause is under investigation. A train derailment occurred nearby in Benton County late Sunday as a result of flooding caused by a levee break at a newly built pond, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office has said.
