Annual ‘Trunk-or-Treat’ offers safer alternative of going door-to-door

JACKSON, Tenn.-Super heroes from The Avengers, the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers and characters from other popular TV shows were in north Jackson Thursday night to get candy. The annual “Trunk or Treat” event that was held at North Side High School. Children and parents got to meet officers from the Jackson Police Department, the Jackson Fire Department and even see a helicopter take off into the skies. Residents said that the event was a safer alternative than going door-to-door.
