Man pleads guilty to sex trafficking

MEMPHIS, Tenn.- Thursday, a Memphis man pleaded guilty to the sex trafficking of a 16-year-old girl. U.S. Attorney Edward Stanton III announced Laron Matlock, 33, admitted to buying a bus ticket for a 16 year old to travel from Chicago to Memphis for the purposes of prostitution. He then admitted to also taking the girl to Nashville. Matlock was arrested in August 2012 after returning to Memphis with the victim. Sentencing is scheduled for next January.
