MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — WBBJ and MobileNation are teaming up to collect winter coats in a program called Carl’s Coats for Kids. The gently used winter coats, scarves, gloves and hats will help those served by the Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse. Those who donate also enter to win a weekly prize. This week’s giveaway is a $200 gift card from Amazon. Organizers say West Tennesseans have been generous with their donations. “Things are going great so far,” said Summer Paris, communications manager at MobileNation. “We’re getting a ton of winter gear, and we’re very excited about donating it at the end of November.” To find out where you can drop off the items, visit the Seen on 7 section of our website.
