NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Republican Governor Bill Haslam has been elected to a second term, the Associated Press is reporting. Haslam ran for re-election against Democratic candidate Charles V. “Charlie” Brown, Constitution Party candidate Shaun Crowell, Green Party candidate Isa Infante, Independent candidate Steven Damon Coburn, Independent candidate John Jay Hooker, and Independent candidate Daniel T. Lewis. Haslam was elected to his first term in 2010 and assumed office Jan. 15, 2011.
