JACKSON, Tenn. — The city of Jackson closed out Veterans Day with a special ceremony at the Carl Perkins Civic Center Tuesday evening. Veterans from all branches of the military attended. Some in attendance said this event is a great way for all veterans to share their memories with those who have walked in their shoes. “It’s just great to be around these guys because they understand what we went through in the military, and we’re just a close-knit community,” said Bryce West, a Marine Corps veteran. More than 700 veterans participated in the event.
