Deputies arrest 3 in Madison Co. shooting
JACKSON, Tenn. — Deputies have arrested three people in a shooting early Tuesday that sent one man to the hospital. Harold Allen Vaughn, 19, Bethany Lashun Long, 19, and James Nequan Martin, 18, all are in custody, according to Madison County Sheriff John Mehr. Each is charged with attempted first-degree murder, especially aggravated kidnapping and especially aggravated robbery, Mehr said. Mehr has said the incident started at Love’s Travel Stop along Interstate 40 in east Madison County and ended at a location along Betty Manley Road in west Madison County. Mehr also has said the victim is from Memphis.
