Man wanted on weapons charge after shooting is back in custody
JACKSON, Tenn. — A man wanted on a weapons charge after a shooting last week is back in custody in Jackson. Police said Antwan Norman was arrested Tuesday night in Union City. Norman is charged with having a gun as a convicted felon. The charge stems from a shooting outside a west Jackson gas station last Wednesday. Officers said Norman shot into a car as it sped toward him. The gunshot hit a passenger in the hand. Investigators said Norman shot in self-defense but as a convicted felon should not have been armed.
