West Tenn. Farmer’s Market closed Thanksgiving, open weekend

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — If you decide to skip the grocery store and buy from local growers, the West Tennessee Farmer’s Market is open for business this weekend. The market is a popular place to buy locally grown fruits and vegetables, and for many Jackson residents it is an opportunity for them to save money and time. “I bake a lot of sweets during the holidays so hey, this is the best place I come to get my vegetables, potatoes and everything else pretty much I can use to save money,” Frank Bass said. The West Tennessee Farmer’s Market is open Tuesday through Saturday but will be closed Thursday for Thanksgiving.
