WEST JACKSON — The third time is a charm for the owner of a local restaurant, lounge and event center. The city of Jackson approved the beer board license Tuesday for Pandora’s Box. It was a long fight, but employees of the lounge say it was all worth it. “We’ve always been optimistic,” said Drew Baker, who works in sales and marketing for Pandora’s Box. “We felt like the beer board would see things our way once we articulated exactly what we were trying to do here, and we’re grateful that they’ve given us the opportunity.” The beer board says they will be watching the business closely.
