Two injured in Camden wreck

CAMDEN, Tenn. — One person was airlifted to Nashville and another hospitalized after a morning traffic accident in Camden, according to police. The head-on collision occurred around 11 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 70, according to the Camden Police Department. One of the drivers was airlifted to Nashville and is in critical but stable condition, according to police. Police say the other driver was rushed to Camden General Hospital and is in serious but stable condition. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Police do not believe either driver was under the influence.
