JACKSON, Tenn. — In a special edition of WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News, anchor Keli McAlister speaks with a panel of local experts in a candid conversation about race and justice and how it relates to Jackson. The panel consists of four local professionals of varied backgrounds and areas of expertise. Harrell Carter is president of the Jackson-Madison County Chapter of the NAACP and a former Jackson police officer. Edmond Cepparulo is a professor of criminal justice at Bethel University and a retired Jackson police officer. Dr. Pepper Pratt is executive director of Youthtown and a licensed clinical therapist. Kortney Simmons is a local attorney and special judge for Jackson City Court.
