Jackson police charge man in GPS theft from vehicle

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police have charged a man in the Wednesday theft of a GPS from a vehicle. Shaunessy Keefe Jackson is charged with auto burglary, theft and vandalism in the alleged incident at the Jackson-Madison County Library, according to court documents. Police were called around 10 a.m. Wednesday to a reported burglary in progress, documents state. Police say surveillance video shows Jackson using a brick to break into a truck’s window and steal a GPS device. After being spotted by officials, police say they found Jackson with a TomTom GPS and a cut on his arm. Jackson is being held on a $15,000 bond.
