Special Christmas tree highlights season for giving

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn.- Students at Haywood Elementary School proved Friday it is truly the season of giving. A special Christmas tree was featured in the 1st and 2nd graders’ Christmas program. The more than 10-foot tall tree is built from more than 2,000 cans of donated food. The food will be distributed to the students who participate in Haywood County’s Backpack Club and other non-profit organizations.
