Deadline arrives for public input on new Jackson airline

JACKSON, Tenn. — Monday marked the last day comments could be submitted for which airline residents believe will be best for Jackson. After Jan. 7, the airport authority will make its decision. According to the executive director, both mayors have approved changing carriers from SeaPort to Air Choice One, which would include flights to St. Louis. Airport officials say a decision will be made by the end of the month.
