Man appears in Jackson court on rape charge

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man appeared in Jackson court Monday on accusations of rape. Police spoke with a victim who says Antonius Fitzgerald Carter forced her to have sex with him. The victim says Carter got into her home, locked the door behind him, raped her and then drug her down the street in a headlock, kicking her with steel-toed boots. Carter is being held on a $100,000 bond.
