UPDATE–Power restored in Henry County

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — Crews have restored power to a six mile stretch of Highway 54. Lights and electric heaters shut off around 10 p.m. Wednesday night and were out for about an hour and a half. Henry County dispatchers say power lines broke because they were brittle due to cold weather conditions. Dispatchers also said they received no calls for assistance from citizens, and no emergency shelters opened. The outage affected between 300 and 400 people.
