DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man was formally charged Friday after police say he admitted to downloading child pornography to his computer. Martin Alonzo Rodriguez faces two counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor. Investigators with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant Wednesday at a Lynn Street residence in Jackson, according to an affidavit. Police found two videos described as child pornography on Rodriguez’s laptop, the document states. The videos were located in a folder title “My Shared Documents,” indicating Rodriguez also was distributing and exchanging videos with others, according to the affidavit. Rodriguez was issued a $100,000 bond.
