HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Gibson County’s new industrial park is getting a big upgrade in hopes of making it more appealing to businesses.. At Monday morning’s county commission meeting, commissioners voted unanimously to match a grant by TVA to build a new access road at the park in Humboldt. The $1 million project will include landscaping and drainage. Currently, no businesses have set up shop in the park, but Gibson County Mayor Tom Witherspoon said this upgrade could change that.
