Jackson Police investigate shooting in west Jackson
WEST JACKSON, Tenn.-Jackson police were called to the scene of a shooting in west Jackson Tuesday evening. According to Jackson Police, a woman was shot inside a home on the 800 block of Old Hickory Blvd. around 9:30 p.m. Investigators say the woman was transported to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Officers could be seen searching the yards of homes in the surrounding area. Currently, investigators say they do not have any suspects or possible motive in the shooting.
