Crash with injuries slows traffic on bypass in north Jackson

NORTH JACKSON — At least two people are injured following an afternoon wreck in north Jackson. A car and a pickup truck collided around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of the Highway 45 Bypass and Channing Way. The drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles and both have been transported to hospitals, according to Jackson firefighters on scene. Traffic was backed up on the bypass, but lanes were open.
