Fire destroys house in Gibson County

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — An early morning fire in Gibson County destroys a home. According to fire officials, the flames broke out around 2:30 a.m. Thursday at a home on the Dyer highway. Firefighters said when they arrived, the home was already partially collapsed. Investigators are not sure of the cause but know it started in the kitchen. Two people were home at the time but escaped unharmed.
