JACKSON, Tenn. — Coming off a hard hit from a worse-than-average flu season, operations at a local hospital have returned to normal. Officials at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital say the facility is now taking all patients again. Last Friday, the hospital stopped taking stable patients transferring from other hospitals. After this year’s flu shot was proven ineffective compared against old vaccines, this year’s “flu response” has been historic.
