Man arrested in disturbance that led to nearby Camden school lockdown

CAMDEN, Tenn. — An man has been arrested in a Tuesday incident at a Camden business that led to nearby schools to briefly be placed on precautionary lockdown. Camden police notified the school of an incident possibly involving a weapon at a nearby business, according to Benton County Director of Schools Mark Florence. The school resource officer was notified by police within minutes of the lockdown that the incident was under control and that no weapon was involved, Florence said. Anthony Henry, 33, is charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft in the incident that led to the lockdown. He is being held at the Benton County Jail in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
