JACKSON, Tenn. — The Casey Jones Barbershop Quartet spent Friday serenading lucky Valentines, all for charity. The four-man crew of crooners went from stop to stop singing a few “Valentine’s Day Eve” love songs. For a $30 donation, donors got a performance of up to five songs along with a single rose for their special someone. “It brings back kind of a nostalgic feeling when they start to sing, but then at the same time it helps to raise awareness for what we do,” serenade coordinator Beth Koffman said. The donations benefit the Therapy and Learning Center, a service of Ayers Children’s Medical Center.
