Teenager dies in early morning crash

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.,–A teenager has died after an early morning vehicle accident, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department. In a news release, Investigators said 17-year-old Rhett Hinson was driving in a Chevy pickup truck on Christmasville road near Watt Boone when the truck left the roadway and struck a tree. Investigators said no other vehicles were involved. Hinson was not wearing a seat belt, according to Madison County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer, Tom Mapes.
