JACKSON, TENN.- All Monday flights have been canceled out of McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport. At least two inches of an ice/sleet mix coated the runway after Monday’s wintry mix making the runway too dangerous for for planes to take off and land, according to Executive Director Steve Smith. Three flights were scheduled Monday. One to Nashville and two to Memphis. It’s not yet determined if flights will resume Tuesday, Smith said. The decision will be made after precipitation stops falling. For current updates check McKellar-Sipes Facebook page: http://on.fb.me/1DYBGDkd
