DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Jackson man is jailed on accusations of trying to hit the lottery big time — but without buying a ticket. Police say Bobby Anderson is seen on surveillance video breaking into a North Highland Avenue store and taking two dispensers full of scratch-off lottery tickets. The affidavit also states Anderson later admitted to the crime and told police the winning tickets only added up to about $100. He now is charged with burglary and theft.
