Martin police chief resigns, will begin new job at local business

MARTIN, Tenn. — The chief of the Martin Police Department confirms he has resigned. David Moore officially resigned Monday after being with the department for 26 and a half years, he told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News. Moore will serve as vice president of V-Academy at Savant Learning Systems beginning April 13. His last day with the department will be April 10.
