JACKSON, Tenn. — If your dream job includes working in professional sports, this weekend may be your chance. The Jackson Generals are hosting a job fair this Saturday. Organizers say they are looking to hire more than 100 part-time, game-day positions as the team kicks off its season in April. Applicants must stop by the ballpark before Saturday to fill out an application and reserve a time slot for the job fair. Representatives with the organization said come prepared with two forms of ID. “This is usually where we do all our hiring from,” said Nick Hall of the Jackson Generals. “It’s good for both a part-time job over the summer as well as actually getting a foot in the door, if sports is an industry you would like to be in.” Positions include mascots and entertainers to ticket office representatives. The job fair starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at the ballpark at Jackson.
