SOUTH JACKSON — Police are searching for a man they believe has stolen about 12 pairs of boots from a Jackson retailer. Workers at R&J Feed Supply, located at 1030 South Highland Avenue, discovered the boots were missing over the course of the past month along with the empty boxes left in the store. Police say store security footage shows a black man in his mid- to late 40s with graying hair and facial hair committing the thefts. After the last theft on Saturday, the man left the store in a newer model silver or gray GMC truck driven by a black woman, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 731-424-TIPS (8477).
