JACKSON, Tenn. — The University of Memphis-Lambuth Campus and Jackson State Community College join forces to offer a new major. Students now can choose manufacturing technology management as a focus for their studies. The vice provost says this new major is targeted toward any student interested in the field as well as those already working in the industry but want to move up. “It will give them some skills that they need both in engineering management as well as management and manufacturing technology to be able to move up within that manufacturing company,” said Dr. Niles Reddick, vice provost of U of M Lambuth. The schools hope to have a class of 25 this fall students.
