AAA offers Tow to Go program for St. Patrick’s Day

JACKSON, Tenn. — For drivers who find themselves with no way to get home without driving drunk, AAA is once again offering their Tow to Go service. The program, designed to be used as a last resort, offers and free ride and vehicle tow for would-be drunken drivers. Tow to Go has safely removed more than 23,000 intoxicated drivers from the roads since it began in 1998, according to the AAA website. The service, provided in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee, offers a confidential ride to a safe location within a 10-mile radius. The AAA tow truck will take the vehicle and driver home, and the service is offered to both AAA members and non-members.
