Two Newbern officers file complaints, claim hostile work environment

NEWBERN, Tenn. — Two Newbern police officers have filed complaints against the police chief, claiming they are in a hostile work environment. In his seven-page letter to the city recorder, Sgt. Robert Harrison, who is 48, said he is being harassed because of his age. The second complaint comes from Lt. Rodney Wright who claims in his two-page letter he is not being paid for the time he works and feels intimidated to not report his overtime.
