WHITEVILLE, Tenn. — The small town of Whiteville is on the lookout for Jasmin Moore. Police say he continues to ignore the law. “We do have information that he is armed. He should be considered armed and dangerous,” Police Chief Steven Stanley said. “He is already on probation for eluding law enforcement.” Moore is now featured in a wanted poster circulating around throughout town. Police say he is from Whiteville and has warrants out for a laundry list of crimes including aggravated burglary, child abuse, two counts of simple assault, trespassing and vandalism. “Anybody that sees Mr. Moore, they should not approach him and try to apprehend him,” Stanley said. “They need to immediately call the police.” Moore is not only a wanted man — police say the person who turns him in could get $500. Officials with the Whiteville Police Department say they’re not the only ones looking for Moore — so is the U.S. Marshals Service’s Fugitive Task Force. “J’MO, turn yourself in. There is no need to continue this criminal behavior and getting more warrants and more time and problems for yourself,” Stanley said.
