Humboldt police seek leads in armed robbery

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Police are looking for two men wanted in an armed robbery at a convenience store. Officers responded just after 9 p.m. Monday to the Maverick convenience store on East End Drive. Two masked men entered the store, and one wielded a handgun and demanded money while the other acted as a lookout, according to a release from the Humboldt Police Department. No one was injured in the robbery. The two then ran outside and to the rear of the building. One suspect is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall with a medium to husky build and wearing a gray hoodie and dark pants. The other suspect is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall with a slender build and wearing a blue hoodie and dark pants. Police say both men wore masks and gloves.
