Officials rule arson in Jackson house fire

WEST JACKSON — A Saturday night fire that destroyed a west Jackson home has been ruled an arson, according to the Jackson Fire Department. Firefighters responded to the home at 1749 Hollywood Drive just after 8 p.m. Saturday. The fire was the second at the home in two days, with crews having responded to a Thursday blaze as well. No one was living inside the home at the time and electricity to the home also had been cut off, according to the fire department.
