Man accused of assaulting wife at Jackson apartment

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — An alleged domestic disturbance at a Jackson apartment landed a man in city court Tuesday. According to court documents, Anthony Antonio Taylor was arrested early Tuesday after police responded to a domestic disturbance at a Cedar Street apartment. Police say Taylor’s wife told them Taylor had pushed her during an argument, causing her to fall to the floor, breaking a laundry basket as she landed. Taylor is charged with simple domestic assault and vandalism under $500. He is being held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
