Rose Hill Middle School principal to retire

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — Rose Hill Middle School principal Ned Lewis is retiring, according to school system officials. Jackson-Madison County Schools Superintendent Verna Ruffin announced Lewis’ retirement Thursday in a release. Lewis recently had been suspended pending an investigation of complaints from parents about corporal punishment without parental consent. Lewis has been with the school system since 2010 and principal at Rose Hill since 2012, according to school system officials. Lewis has served 32 years in education, according to the release.
