Man accused of holding knife to man’s neck in Jackson hotel room

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man was in court Monday on accusations of holding a knife to a man’s neck in a Jackson hotel room. According to court documents, Dennis B. Wooley was in a room at Airways Motel with another man Thursday when Wooley started to make suggestive sexual comments to the man. When the man tried to leave, Wooley is accused of pulling out a knife and holding it to the side of the man’s neck. The man fled from the room, and Wooley then allegedly struck him in the chest near his pacemaker, according to the affidavit. Wooley is charged with aggravated assault. His bond is set at $15,000.
