JACKSON, Tenn. — United Way of West Tennessee has announced a new CEO and president to lead the volunteer-driven organization. Scott Conger will assume the role of CEO and president May 1, according to a release. “We are excited about the future of United Way of West Tennessee, and we look forward to Scott‘s leadership and the opportunity to work with him,” board chairman Charley Deal states in the release. “He brings tremendous energy and vision for the future of United Way.” Conger is active in the community, serving in various organizations and also on the Jackson City Council. “I look forward to being a part of the important work that United Way does and am excited and humbled by the opportunity,” Conger states in the release.
