MARTIN, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee at Martin announced Monday its chancellor will step down at the end of May. Dr. Tom Rakes has served as chancellor since 2007. University officials say the school has seen notable growth in online enrollment during Rakes’ administration and the completion of more than $100 million in capital and maintenance projects. There is no word yet on when his replacement could be named.
