Sisters accused of cutting, stabbing man over Facebook posts

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — Two sisters were in Jackson City Court Tuesday on accusations of cutting and stabbing a man with a knife and box cutter. According to court papers, Shawill and Tawill Marshall got into an argument with a man Saturday afternoon at a Hollywood Drive address over Facebook posts. The Marshalls left the area and then returned with several other people, the documents state. Tawill Marshall is accused of cutting the man’s left arm with a box cutter. Shawill Marshall is accused of stabbing the man several times with a knife. A woman who attempted to stop the assault was stabbed in the left leg by Shawill Marshall, according to an affidavit. Both women are charged with aggravated assault. Each was issued a $5,000 bond.
